Hey Joe, awesome, anyway, Blitzen Trapper are great i just listened to a few of their songs today, they are so all over the place, from Tom Petty, to Elton John at times (Saturday Night)to the Mississippi Queen song, anyway, great job way to tell the story, you could totally hear that song whlie watching the two run from the cops, thank you so much for you tutalige!? spelled right? One thing, do you think you can fill me in on what your layers look like? i love to see how that all works. thanks again ang great stuff. and check out their Wild Nation Mountain song, goods.
Thanks so much for doing this man, I learn so much by watching how you go about things. What were you using for the rust at the end? I really like the texture you got for that. Its awesome as always:)
Meant to write this comment like a week ago when I first listened/watched through this blog entry. Aside from rocking the illustration, I loved the dj way you spun us through a selection of the Blitzen Trapper music! What a fantastic combination to engage the viewer. There's a great feel to the whole piece and it was a joy to watch it all come into focus. I can't help but see a touch of R. Crumb in the driver and the dog. Very Americana :)
awesome tutorial! i don't do much drawing or illustration, but you really inspired me with your work; you are very talented. keep up the great job, and thanks for adding another great band to my ipod!
Great to get such detail instructions. Thank you so much. Don't know where to ask this question so please forgive me if I shouldn't do it here. I get confused with size and resolution when painting digitally. Could you tell me what size you normally draw on and what pixels per inch. For example on the Tom Cruse or Bill Murray images. Thank you
hey joe! first of all,i really enjoyed this videos, really great and i learned alot so thanx.
i was wondering, when u go over the blue sketches with the black color, how do u make the lines so accurate? when im drawing the lines are not so smooth.do u have any special definitions?
For almost an hour I felt like driving down a road in the desert, listening to a really decent and funny radio DJ. Thank you so much, it was a wonderful time. Looking forward to the next ride!

Hi Joe
Great tutorial, really nice to see how an artist work like that.
I am curious as to how you did the rust effect on the car in the end - any hidden trick up your sleeve there you could share?
